One night for all lovers of Cuban music. We will mix in other genres, such as salsa, bachata and kizomba, but the night belongs to Cuba. Get to meet new dance
friends and share your love for Cuban dance with other
aficionados - this is NOT a dance congress - this IS a
dance community festival!

4:00p - 6:30p Zulu Parade Choreography Practice
Indoor parade practice led by choreographers.
Perfecting moves and coordination.
6:30p - 10:00p FREE TIME to explore New Orleans and get
swallowed by the Mardi Gras spirit.

Open to All Participants. We will come up with a list of
standard Rueda de Casino calls/figures for all of us to demo in front of hundreds of New Orleaneans at the
Lundi Gras festival.
5:00p - 6:30p Zulu Parade Choreography Practice
Indoor parade practice led by choreographers.
Perfecting moves and coordination.
***T-shirts will be distributed at this practice!

LUNDI GRAS (Monday before Mardi Gras)
Location: City Park Peristyle (42 Dreyfous Dr.)
10:00a - 12:00p Zulu Parade Choreography Practice
Last group practice of ALL choreographies to finalize
positions, row leaders, spacing and logistics.
Location: Woldenberg Park (1 Canal St.)
1:00p - 3:30p Lundi Gras Festival on the River Group Performance
All Participants perform a Rueda de Casino
choreography at the Lundi Gras Festival Stage.
This performance is seen by hundreds of local
spectators.
Location: Meeting @ Woldenberg Park (1 Canal St.)
3:30p - until Mardi Gras Revelry Group Bar Crawl / Flash Mobs
Walk around New Orleans' enchanted French Quarter
with locals while flash mobbing around the city!
8:00p - until FREE TIME to wind down and customize your Zulu
T-shirt/Costume with new friends! Believe us, you will
be surprised at how creative some folks can get with a drink, a T-shirt, and a pair of scissors....and, of course,
some HOT timba tunes!
