March in the famous Zulu Social Aide & Pleasure Club Parade on Mardi Gras Day. Named after the fierce warrior tribe of South Africa, this Krewe hosts the most anticipated and remarkable parade of the season. This Krewe began parading as early as 1901, and its most famous King, Louis Armstrong, ruled in 1949.
A limited number of participants will be able to march in the Zulu parade.
Participants will have access to the choreographies in advance and practices will be held for locals and visitors on during Mardi Gras weekend. For live updates about rehearsals and choreographies, please follow The Carnival Exchange Project and Dile Que NOLA on Facebook.
Locals: Parade participants who live in New Orleans will have access to choreography rehearsals during the weeks leading up to Mardi Gras. Please see The Carnival Exchange Project on Facebook for the rehearsal schedule and to be added to the group containing all choreo videos.
Out of State: Please contact The Carnival Exchange Project via Facebook to access to the private group containing all choreo tutorial videos. Rehearsal as a group will take place during Mardi Gras weekend.
The Zulu Pass Ticket Includes:
- Krewe of Zulu T-Shirt
- Access to tutorial videos of 5+ choreographies via Facebook group
- Studio / rehearsal space for practices before Mardi Gras weekend

The Zulu Pass Does NOT Include:
- Leggings for Uniforms (red or blue, according to position in formation)
- Additional/optional props for your costumes
- Access to dress rehearsal
