Our delegation of U.S. students, professors, and scholars will participate in this symposium hosted by the Cuban Institute of Anthropology and Cuba's Africa House Museum (Office of the Historian of Havana). This year's program will be honoring the 30 year anniversary of the creation of the UNESCO Project: “Routes of the Rebel Slave: Resistance, Freedom and Heritage”, of which Cuba was a founding member.
Workshops conducted by subject matter experts from across the Americas will explore issues related to colonialism, resistance, and more.
